Far away from the busy city of Dresden you will meet wild canyons, romantic hiking paths and a large variety of rocks and mountains offering unforgettable views on a spectacular countryside.
Guided tour of the fortress »Königstein«
The Königstein fortification is a unique witness of European fortress´ constructions. During the guided tour you will discover the history from late Gothic to the 19th century architecture serving as a prisoners´ camp and military fortress until 1955.
Afterwards you will enjoy a scenic drive through the Saxon Switzerland to the »Bastei«

Enjoy this scenic point – looking around from the former bastion and the monumental bridge of Saxon sandstone. During your stay at the Bastei you will be served coffee and cake inside the restaurant overlooking the Elbe river and the panorama of the Saxon Switzerland. On the way back to Dresden we will pass by the former wine villages of Wachwitz and Loschwitz and you get to know the city of Dresden as a city of high tech and baroque, also passing by the Transparent Manufacture of the Volkswagen company.(The minimum number of participants set by the organizer is 20 persons.)
